Edward A. Skypala, Esquire
Edward A. Skypala, Esquire was admitted to the bar in 1973 and earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Temple University. He earned his B.A. from West Chester State College in 1969.
While attending Temple University School of Law, Mr. Skypala earned the American Jurisprudence Excellence Award (highest grade) in the study of criminal law. He served as an Assistant District Attorney for Montgomery County from 1974 to 1976 as a trial attorney. From 1985 through 1991 he acted as Solicitor for the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth.
Mr. Skypala concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal law, family law, estate administration, estate planning, municipal, zoning and land use law and civil litigation.
Mr. Skypala has extensive municipal experience and currently serves as the Solicitor of Upper Providence Township, Skippack Township, Upper Hanover Township and is conflict counsel for Limerick Township. Mr. Skypala also serves as the Solicitor for the Zoning Hearing Boards of West Pottsgrove Township, New Hanover Township, Red Hill Borough, Pennsburg Borough and New Morgan Borough. Mr. Skypala is also the Solicitor for The Upper Hanover Authority, Green Lane-Marlborough Joint Sewer Authority and Upper Providence Township Municipal Authority.
Mr. Skypala is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Mr. Skypala is married to Elaine (Godshall) Skypala and has three children. In his spare time, Mr. Skypala enjoys fishing, boating and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jill R. Zimmerman, Esquire
Attorney Jill Zimmerman earned her B.A. at Muhlenberg College, her J.D. at Ohio Northern University School of Law and her L.L.M. at Villanova University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
Attorney Zimmerman began her legal career in the Berks County District Attorney's office. After prosecuting hundreds of cases, she joined the Law Offices of Edward A. Skypala. For the past eight years in private practice, Ms. Zimmerman has represented numerous individuals and businesses in various legal matters. Attorney Zimmerman concentrates her legal practice in the areas of domestic, land use, zoning, criminal, personal injury and municipal law.
Attorney Zimmerman is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association.
